Nominacje do MTV VMA 2019 (wideo)

Stacja MTV zaprezentowała dziś listę nominowanych do MTV VMA 2019, na której znalazło się kilkudziesięciu artystów, których twórczość wywarła wpływ na przemysł muzyczny i światową kulturę. Ariana Grande i Taylor Swift mają szansę na aż 10 statuetek w takich kategoriach, jak „Video of the Year”, “Song of the Year” i “Best Pop”. Ich najmocniejszymi rywalami są, po raz pierwszy nominowani do MTV VMA, Billie Eilish i Lil Nas X. Oboje walczą m. in. o tytuł „Best New Artist”, kategorii prezentowanej przez Taco Bell®. W tegorocznej edycji wprowadzone zostały dwie nowe nagrody, „Best K-Pop” i „Video for Good”.

 

 

Po raz pierwszy, MTV ogłosiło nominacje poprzez „chatbot VMA”, wysyłając DM (bezpośrednie wiadomości) do @VMA na Messengerze i Twitterze.

 „To był niesamowity rok w muzyce, a grupa nominowanych doskonale odzwierciedla bogaty krajobraz muzyki pop” – powiedział Bruce Gillmer, Head of Music and Music Talent, Viacom and Co-Brand Head, MTV International. „Nie możemy się doczekać, aż poznamy wyniki głosowania fanów. To będzie niesamowity, niezapomniany wieczór!”

 

 

Od dziś do 15 sierpnia fani mogą głosować na swoich ulubionych artystów w 14, neutralnych pod względem płci, kategoriach VMA, w tym „Video of the Year”, „Artist of the Year”, „Best Collaboration”. Głosowanie na nagrodę „Best New Artist”, przyznawaną przez Taco Bell®, pozostanie aktywne do czasu emisji VMA. Fani na Twitterze i Facebook Messenger mogą oddać dodatkowy głos na “Video of the Year” czy “Song of the Year”. Również w tym tygodniu fani posiadający urządzenia z systemem Alexa będą mogli poprosić „głosowanie na VMA” w kategorii „Artist of the Year”.

W tym roku, po raz pierwszy w historii, MTV nagradza fanów za głosowanie przez VMA Power Hour na vma.mtv.com, gdzie ich głosy są podwajane codziennie od 13.00 do 14.00.
